Step 1. Choose Your Ceremony
Choice A- Do you want a wedding ceremony that is Religious or Non Religious?
Choice B- Are you exchanging Rings or do you want a ceremony without the exchange of rings?
Choice C- Will you have witnesses for your ceremony? Missouri and Illinois State Law used to require two witnesses. Since the Covid pandemic many counties no longer require witnesses. Missouri counties not requiring witnesses at this time include Franklin County, Jefferson County, Phelps County, Saint Charles County, Saint Louis City, Saint Louis County, Warren County. There may be additional counties not requiring witnesses. We will have to verify additional counties prior to the wedding. Illinois Counties not requiring witnesses at this time include.
Step 2. Choose the date and time for discussion with our officiate.
We marry couples throughout the Metro St. Louis and Southern Illinois area, including, but not limited to the locations shown below. We have wedding officiants available 7 days a week for your wedding ceremony planning. Our ministers/ officiants are also available 7 days a week for religious or justice of the peace ceremonies.
Step 3. Choose Your Location – We Can Help
Locations within 15 miles one way from our location (near SR94 and I-70) there is no mileage fee charged. Locations more than 15 miles one way from I-70 and 270 will incur a mileage fee. Step 5. Bring a photo ID. Both Missouri and Illinois require the officiate to verify that the people listed on the marriage license are the people having the wedding ceremony. Be sure to bring a government issued photo ID with you. A Driver’s License, Military ID, or Passport are the most issued governmental photo ID’s.
