EZ-Wed Elopement Services

The EZ-Wed elopement service allows you to add a wedding bouquet and photos to your wedding package at a very reasonable price!

When it comes to getting married not everyone wants a big fancy and elaborate ceremony with a giant reception and hundreds of guests. Some couples would rather not burden their families or themselves with the high cost and opt to use that money in different ways… deposit on a new home… a special trip. Other couples don’t have the time or inclination to go through the lengthy planning process of an elaborate wedding and reception. And though they don’t want an elaborate wedding, many couples realize the significance of “getting married” in their lives, and want their elopement wedding ceremony to be a rich and memorable experience complete with flowers and photos. Some want to share this experience with family and friends.

With that in mind we arranged to provide couples with a pretty wedding, flowers and digital wedding photos in a complete elopement package that provides a meaningful and memorable ceremony and… if they desire, a beautiful site to celebrate their special day.

We offer the EZ-Wed Elopement Services that you can combine with a religious or non-religious ceremony in any of our three wedding services:

  • WedXpress
  • Elegant Foundations
  • Remembrance Custom Weddings

The EZ-Wed Elopement service allows you to add a wedding bouquet and photos to your wedding package at a very reasonable price. It is also an economical choice but with a little more flair to assist in making your special day beautiful and memorable!

EZ-Wed offers elopement type services wherever and whenever you want them. This option requires a bit more time to plan and depends on the availability of our pool of photographers.

Please note we are not offering or taking on the many services offered by wedding planners for elaborate receptions with ceremonies. But with over 20 years of weddings and more than 1000 couples married our experience enables us to provide simple direction and liaison with your plans. Getting a Marriage License

Missouri:
You do not have to be a Missouri resident to obtain a marriage license. The Recorder of Deeds Office at the Office of the County Clerk issues Missouri marriage licenses. You may obtain a license at any county courthouse and be married anywhere in Missouri. Fees vary by county. Both* of you must be present to apply for a marriage license. Both of you must be at least 18 years of age to apply (unless you have parental consent). You must have a government issued photo ID such as a passport or driver’s license and a Social Security card. A birth certificate is not required to obtain a marriage license. A blood test is not required for a Missouri marriage license. After you are married, a birth certificate is required to change your last name.

If both of you can’t go to the courthouse together to apply, the absent applicant must fill out an affidavit verifying identity and desire to acquire a marriage license.

If either of you are divorced, you must have been divorced for more than 30 days to obtain a license. You will need to provide the Recorder of Deed the date of your divorce. If you plan to change your name, ask for a copy of your completed license to be mailed to you when you apply.

You can take you license the same day you apply or either one of you may pick up your license at any time for up to one year.

Once picked up, the license must be used within 30 days and is only valid if the ceremony is performed in the State of Missouri. A Missouri marriage license may be obtained in a different county than the marriage is performed, it is valid anywhere in Missouri.

Your Officiant will mail your completed license with his/her signature to the Recorder of Deeds in the county where the license was obtained within 10-15 days of the ceremony. They will give you a Marriage Certificate. This is a keepsake only. You obtain an official copy from the Recorder of Deeds. Both must be signed by your witnesses. Your witnesses must be at least 18 years of age. (During the pandemic some counties stopped requiring witnesses. You should contact the Recorder of Deeds where you obtained your license to determine whether they still require witnesses.)
