The majority of the weddings that we perform are at the client’s requested location. We do Park Weddings, Reception Hall Weddings, Residence Weddings, Chapel Weddings, Garden Weddings, Home Weddings, Back Yard Weddings, Church Weddings… all types of locations indoor and outdoor.

If you don’t already have a location we can help!

If you want a church wedding we have church facilities where we can host weddings. The photo on the right was shot in one of the church facilities available for your wedding ceremony.

We offer secular or religious ceremonies at Saint Charles Country Club, hotels, chapels, residences and outdoors in parks. There may be additional fees for some indoor locations that are payable to the facility.

Video Stream Your Special Day

Want to share your ceremony with those who can not attend? Let your great aunt, other family or friends from out of town, or around the world, be part of your ceremony with our video streaming services.

Multiple Minister Ceremonies

Want both male and female ministers doing different parts of the ceremony? At a small additional cost, A Remembrance Custom Wedding will add a second minister to the service.

Pastoral Counseling and Testing

Nobody taught you how to be married. It is a simple fact that other than living in our own families and using them as models, few folks really have any training in couple relationships.

Whether there are issues to be discussed, or you just want to prepare for a sound marriage you can count on Remembrance Weddings. We have years of experience in relationship building, strengthening and counseling with couples.

Not your typical pastoral counseling on religion and your relationship, our association with Relationship Counseling Associates allows us to offer various forms of testing and counseling to give your marriage the best possible start. One which is particularly relevant to couples is “Heart to Heart.” This computer driven test facilitates the couple knowing each other better and reveals topics for discussion in the twelve critical areas that cause problems for relationships.

The sessions that follow the testing are designed to help the couples communicate more effectively, solve misunderstandings and build a stronger relationship. Other available testing will identify your personality type, temperament and learning and communications styles to facilitate better understanding and communication with your partner. This is not a requirement for us to perform your ceremony, We recommend it to all our clients.

Ask yourself this question: Who Taught You How to Make a Marriage Work? The sorry fact is that nobody did. A successful marriage starts with love. But it requires skills to make it last.

To better their chances for success, couples need training in 12 specific areas. How to negotiate power in the relationship; how to fight fair; parenting and discipline; family and friends; finances and goals; are just some of the skills you need to go the distance.

We can provide pastoral counseling and training in relationship building prior to or after the ceremony to help couples strengthen their relationship. This is not a requirement for us to perform your wedding ceremony. But we recommend marital counseling to all our clients, even if you choose to get it elsewhere.

Most marriage counselors will tell you that by the time most couples come to therapy they have built up resentment and walls which will never go away. A better approach is to get the skills you need and counseling early before little things become big ones.

Ceremonies in Other Languages

Want a bi-lingual ceremony? We have Hispanic translators and officiates on call, and with advance planning can provide translators in many languages.

Public Address Sound System

Reverend Million’s voice is trained and he projects very well. He has years of experience at being heard by the folks in the rear of the building. However there are situations where the background noise, venue acoustics, or the number of guests make it necessary to have microphones and amplification.

We prefer that you make these arrangements with your DJ, or the venue. However, in those instances where there isn’t going to be music or microphones available at the venue, we can set up wireless microphones and a PA system.

This adds substantial set up and tear down time and often requires us to pay someone to help us set up, monitor the system and tear it down. Because of this, we charge an additional $100.00 to provide a PA system.

Music

For those who prefer to bring a music player and speakers we are happy to include your music choices in the ceremony.

We do keep a CD player and traditional wedding music on hand, but we prefer that you make other arrangements. If you want us to provide the player and a person to run it for the ceremony we charge $75.00 for this added service. We do not provide music for receptions.

Miscellaneous Wedding Items

After more than 15 years of performing hundreds of weddings we have acquired items such as lighted wedding arches, Unity Candle Sets, vases, wine glasses and more. We do not consider ourselves to be in the wedding supply business, but in a pinch we will be glad to talk with you about providing some of these supply type items for your service.

As an example, we can provide a lighted wedding arch at a price of $100.00. This seems like a lot of money but we have to haul the arch to the service, assemble it in time for you to put flowers etc., then tear it down, repack it and haul it back. So this involves a lot of additional time and trouble or sometimes an additional person.

Just as we noted earlier. We are not looking to be in the wedding supply business but will accommodate you if we are able.
